What is collected

Two things collect information while you browse: analytics and advertising. Both are provided by Google, and both work through cookies and similar technologies stored by your browser.

Analytics

Google Analytics records how the site is used: which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are in the world, which browser and device they use, and how long they stay. It is used to work out which guides are useful and where the site needs improving. It is not used to identify individual people.

Advertising

Google AdSense serves the adverts on this site. Google and its partners may use cookies to show adverts based on your previous visits to this or other websites.

You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google's Ads Settings, and you can review the options offered by other vendors at aboutads.info.

Content embedded from elsewhere

Some pages embed a Twitch player, and guides link out to sites such as YouTube, Path of Building, poeplanner and the official Path of Exile trade site. Those services set their own cookies and apply their own privacy policies, which this one does not cover.

Your choices

Blocking or clearing cookies in your browser settings stops most of the above, and the guides will still work. Browser-level tracking protection and ad blockers also work normally here.
