Preferred Outcomes

  • Min endurance charge + charge on kill
  • Min frenzy charge + charge on kill
  • Hybrid fire/chaos res
  • Totem placement speed (if SBoD / SRI totem variant)
  • Trap throwing speed (if FT variant)

Crafting Steps

Note: This is typically slightly less efficient in terms of cost and power than the Recomb +2 Amulet. I'd mostly only suggest using it if you have a really good use for a particular unveiled mod (for example, for endurance charges gained on kill to free up your anoint for something else), or if you just hate using the recombinator.

    Purchase (or self-fracture) an ilvl82+ amulet with fractured T1 dot multi.
    • If you self-fracture, you should be able to use the Allflame bench to significantly improve your odds of success.

    Use Orb of AlterationOrb of Alteration0.27cReforges a magic item with new random modifiers. and Orb of AugmentationOrb of Augmentation0.15cAdds a new random modifier to a magic item. until you get +1 to level of all skill gems.

    Use a Craicic CroakerCraicic Croaker140cA beast whose beastcraft imprints a magic item, saving its state as a restore point you can revert to after using other currency on it. and Black MórriganBlack Mórrigan628cA beast that upgrades other beastcrafts. Paired with Craicic Chimeral it applies a Hinekora’s Lock effect to a magic item. beast to apply a Hinekora Lock effect to the amulet.

    Preview the outcome of both Regal OrbRegal Orb1cUpgrades a magic item to rare, keeping its modifiers and adding one more. and Foulborn Regal OrbFoulborn Regal Orb. If either of them show any suffix, take that outcome.
    • Preview an outcome by clicking the orb and then hovering (but NOT clicking) over the amuelt.
    • If neither outcome is a suffix, use a Blessed OrbBlessed Orb0.60c to reset the Hinekora Lock effect and return to Step 3.

    Craft "prefixes cannot be changed" and scour the suffix you added.

    Craft in order:
    • Can have up to 3 Crafted Modifiers
    • Prefixes cannot be changed
    • Adds # to # Fire Damage to Attacks

    Harvest add a fire mod and remove a random mod.

    Remove crafted modifiers, then re-craft prefixes cannot be changed.

    Use a Veiled Exalted OrbVeiled Exalted OrbLike an Exalted Orb, but the modifier it adds is veiled and chosen afterwards at the crafting bench. to add either a veiled prefix or suffix (50/50).
    • If it's a prefix, just unveil looking for max life and skip to Step #.

    If you got a veiled suffix, craft vaal pact while focused and unveil, looking for your desired mod.
    • If you don't get it, you can craft prefixes cannot be changed, scour, and return to Step 8.

    Use a Fenumus, First of the NightFenumus, First of the Night30c and Black MórriganBlack Mórrigan628cA beast that upgrades other beastcrafts. Paired with Craicic Chimeral it applies a Hinekora’s Lock effect to a magic item. to add lvl30 Aspect of the Spider.
    • Aspect of the Spider is a powerful 25% base reservation damage aura that we really want to fit into the build. Usually I would suggest dropping Tempest Shield (solving spell block in a Versatile Combatant setup) or Purity of Fire (with many +2% max fire resistance jewels or Mageblood + Ruby Flask). If you can't or don't want to do either, you can skip this step.

    Craft your final mod, anoint your amulet, and use your desired catalyst (usually life or attributes), etc. to finish the amulet.
